Prayer Requests
One significant way we show our love for one another is by lifting one another to God. Our family ministry knows that God hears our prayers, values us, and is concerned about us all. He expects us to follow suit. Please specify if you have a request, a concern for someone else, or if you would want to offer a blessing or expression of gratitude.

The purpose of the church is to proclaim God’s love and to raise awareness of God’s existence. We do our best to create a community where no one stands alone. We constantly invite everyone to join hands through a variety of events and activities.

6 Neal Avenue United Methodist Church is dedicated to becoming a developing, evangelistic, inclusive, and just church so that new people come to trust in Jesus Christ, everyone’s faith grows, and many communities and churches go through a transformation. Our services are curated to help us grow spiritually and further our dedication to God.
Adult Sunday School
A new adult Lenten Sunday School class will begin at 9 am on Sunday, February 22nd. The class will be using the book “The Last Supper” by Will Willimon. Travel with Jesus on the road to Jerusalem in this profound six-week Lenten study that explores the parables and stories Jesus told at tables along the way to his final meal.
Will Willimon invites readers to experience how these table stories―about searching shepherds, welcoming hosts, prodigal sons, and rejected invitations―illuminate the deeper meaning of the Last Supper and Christ’s sacrifice.
Through engaging biblical exploration and Willimon’s characteristic storytelling wisdom, readers will:
– Discover how Jesus used meals to reveal the surprising nature of God’s kingdom
– Explore how stories of mercy, invitation, and radical hospitality prepare us for Holy Week
– Understand why sharing bread and wine became the central ritual of Christian faith
– Experience Maundy Thursday’s profound significance in fresh, meaningful ways.
